EU VAT Number for WooCommerce

My organisation would like to offer the product outside the EU, and is only able to engage on a B2B basis and, as such my team is only entitled to offer products if collection of VAT number is made a required field. We see the EU VAT Number automated check as extremely useful, but would be satisfied to manually check VAT numbers from non-EU countries. Unfortunately, we cannot offer our products outside the EU because the EU VAT Number plugin does not honour the ‘VAT is required’ setting for countries outside the EU.
