Free Gifts for WooCommerce

I want to give people a free product when they purchase one or more products from a product category. However, limit it to a maximum of 1 automatic free gift per order per product category (it concerns a fixed item, do not choose yourself). Can this option be added?

So: If user buy product from category A, give free gift, maximum 1 per order in total. So if a user add a second article from the same category, don’t give the free product again.
