Currently, you can only set pre-orders at the product level, but sometimes different variations have different release dates (or in my case, different delivery dates from the supplier).
Just simply the ability to set at variation level as well as product level.

This is a common request — enabling pre-order only at the product level doesn’t work when different variations have different release or delivery dates from the supplier.
Smart Pre-Order Manager for WooCommerce supports setting pre-order status per individual variation, so each one can have its own release date instead of being tied to the parent product.
