In Switzerland prices are always mathematically rounded to CHF 0.05. Hence, CHF 9.92 will be CHF 9.90. Therefore, it would be great to have that built in into WooCommerce Core so no complicated custom function is needed to achieve that.

Until this lands in core: the part that usually breaks is not the rounding itself but where the difference ends up. A filter on `woocommerce_calculated_total` only changes the cart total. With the block checkout the order is rebuilt from its line items, so the rounded amount often gets lost between checkout and the saved order (a user described exactly this here: Rounding issue | WordPress.org). What holds up is a separate, untaxed line (a fee) that carries the difference to the nearest 0.05, calculated after coupons, shipping and other fees. Then the order, the invoice PDF and any accounting export all show the same total, and product and shipping VAT stay exactly as WooCommerce calculated them.
