I joined 10 Web without knowing you have limitations on how we can trade. This is not advertised on the homepage or I wouldnt have signed up to 10 Web who is your business partner/ associate. I feel scammed. Africa is always been left out of things, yet the West needs us. How long have we lived in a global world yet were still excluded? Honestly what is “free trade” when some of us are not free to trade? This limits my business being global in nature and for what, because I am from Africa? Guys please catch a wake-up. We’re tired of being excluded. Its economic discrimination is what it is!
It is a disgrace that WooCommerce WooPay doesn’t work in South Africa, the birthplace of WooCommerce. Like PayPal and a lot of other world changing inventions and services that began in South Africa or with South African involvement and backing, it is difficult if not impossible for South Africans to use those same services.
It’s a fact. South Africans are hard working entrepreneurs, inventors and problem solvers. Imagine what we could do without all the limitations deliberately imposed on us.
Anyway, shame on you Automattic/WordPress/WooCommerce for leaving out the country that created the platform that powers so many of the world’s eCommerce websites.
I was really expecting WooPayments in SA, since Woocommerce was built originally in SA.
What are the chances I come here to vote and my country is already top of the list? Woo, please make it happen. We need this like yesterday!
WooPayments Needed In South Africa
Nothing like buying a domain, paying for premium plan on woo to find out woo payments are not supported in South Africa… Please enable us to be part of the ecommerce world. after all, South Africa is large and once this is available you will find the floods of store owners coming in since shopify does not offer us much.

This would be a game changer for South Africa. There thousands of WooCommerce stores in SA.
For woocommerce payment in South-Africa will be a blessing , as website building agency in South-Africa building mostly ecommerce websites that is one thing we would love to have.
Why leave Africa from the WOO Payments Systems with a 1 Billion Population and South Africa with a 60 Million Population , It dont make business sense

Please allow us to use this in South Africa! But also allow us to choose the default currency. I’m based in South Africa but all my products and services are priced in USD. I would like to keep selling in USD even though I’m in South Africa, but having ZAR, EUR, GBP, etc. as options would be good too.
