Hello! Gift order support was added to the ShipStation for WooCommerce plugin in version 4.7.0.
You can enable it at WooCommerce > Settings > Integration > ShipStation by checking “Enable gift order option at checkout.” Once enabled, customers will see a “Mark order as a gift” checkbox at checkout along with a gift message field. The gift status and message sync directly to ShipStation’s native gift fields, so orders appear with a gift icon in ShipStation and the message populates the “Gift Message” field.
I’ve got a client that’s thinking of ditching shipstation because the custom field workaround for supporting a gift message sync between woo and shipstation is not a viable solution due to the 100 character limit and it’s a big hassle to enter all the gift messages manually. The actual gift message field in Shipstation allows up to 1000 characters, so it would make the most sense to allow gift messages in woo to sync with gift message field in Shipstation.
