– This attribute is legally required in Germany and Austria; existing plugins like WooCommerce Germanized and German Market already expose it as product meta, so Google for WooCommerce would only need to read and pass the value rather than reimplement the calculation.
– The request covers both unit_pricing_measure and unit_pricing_base_measure — the base measure is the reference unit (e.g. per 100g, per litre) and is equally important for EU compliance.

This is now coming up as a warning in our Merchant Center when selling cosmetics to the UK. Needs to be urgently implemented.
