MailPoet 5.28.0 keeps your automation reporting accurate when you edit live flows, lets automations branch on how subscribers engage, and blocks bots from your signup forms.
Keep your automation reporting accurate when you change a flow mid-campaign. When you edit a live automation, your stats no longer get muddied — you can now filter automation analytics by a specific saved version, or aggregate performance across every version of that automation. New runs always use the latest version automatically, so a mid-campaign tweak doesn’t quietly skew the numbers you’re reporting on.
Build automations that react to how subscribers actually engage. Automation emails now support conditions based on whether a subscriber opened, clicked, or was sent an email. Use it to branch a flow — send a follow-up only to people who opened, re-target the ones who didn’t click, or hold off on contacts you’ve already emailed.
Make it easier for customers to leave a review. WooCommerce post-purchase automation emails can now include a direct review link, so a happy customer goes straight to leaving feedback instead of hunting for the product page. Fewer steps means more reviews, and more social proof on your store.
Stop bots from polluting your subscriber list. Subscription forms now require human-like interaction — mouse movement, scrolling, or natural keystroke timing — before a submission is accepted, and suspicious entries are challenged with a CAPTCHA even after one has already been solved. Cleaner signups mean better deliverability and email stats you can trust.
This release also folds in smaller quality improvements: clearer subcategory names in the Automatic Latest Content block (when two subcategories share a name, MailPoet now shows the parent category so you can tell them apart), a fix so form input fields correctly inherit the font from your active theme, faster and more consistent admin screens across the subscribers, emails, sending status, logs, and campaign statistics listings, and WordPress 7.0 compatibility.
