This release gives two of your highest-impact automations pre-built email content so you don’t start from a blank page, makes automation emails simpler to manage, and ships several fixes — including one for sites using plain permalinks.
MailPoet 5.29.0 adds ready-made email content to two of the automations that do the most for your revenue. Welcome automations now come with pre-built email content, so a new subscriber gets a polished first impression while you skip the blank-screen setup. Abandoned cart reminders ship with content already in place too — edit it, brand it, and turn it on to start recovering lost sales faster.
Managing automation emails is simpler in this release. A new Delete email button lets you remove a “Send email” step right from the automation’s settings, and the automations menu now stays highlighted while you edit an email inside an automation — so you always know where you are.
This release also clears a handful of fixes worth knowing about:
- Saving a subscriber’s preferences no longer overwrites other details on their profile.
- Archive links now resolve correctly for emails with accented or non-Latin characters in the subject.
- Fixed an issue that could break signup forms on some sites.
- Email previews no longer read from or overwrite a real order when a preview ID happens to match an existing order ID.
- Post notification history titles no longer overflow into neighboring columns.
How to get it
Update to MailPoet 5.29.0 from your WooCommerce dashboard — Plugins > Installed Plugins, or WooCommerce > Extensions. The fixes apply automatically once you’re on the latest version, and the ready-made automation content appears when you set up a welcome or abandoned cart automation.
