We’ve shipped one of the most-requested features for Square users: bidirectional order synchronization.
With version 5.0 of the WooCommerce Square extension, you can enable this feature to seamlessly keep orders in sync between your WooCommerce store and the Square Dashboard.
When enabled:
- WooCommerce → Square: Orders created in WooCommerce automatically sync to Square with their fulfillment details.
- Square → WooCommerce: Order-status updates made in Square flow back to WooCommerce, keeping both platforms perfectly aligned.
This upgrade makes Buy Online, Pick Up In Store (BOPIS) smoother than ever: orders placed on your site appear in Square ready for preparation, and once completed in-store, the updated status is reflected automatically in WooCommerce.
