If your store uses the progressive layout, where shoppers build a composite product one component at a time, the builder now collapses each completed component as soon as the shopper makes a choice. The page stays focused on the next decision instead of a growing stack of already-answered steps. This release also exposes the Option Select Action setting, so you control what happens when a shopper selects an option rather than relying on the default behavior.
Catalog prices are also more accurate. Composites that include components with no individual price, combined with scenarios that conditionally hide certain components, could show an incorrect price on catalog and shop pages. Those prices are now correct, so shoppers see the right starting price before they open the product.
How to get it
Update to WooCommerce Composite Products 11.1.0 from your WooCommerce dashboard — Plugins > Installed Plugins, or WooCommerce > Extensions. The fixes apply automatically once you’re on the latest version. This release requires WordPress 6.8 or later and WooCommerce 10.6 or later, so update those first if you’re on older versions.
