- Secure: scanned for vulnerabilities and malicious code.
- Compatible: installs and runs cleanly on current WordPress and WooCommerce.
- Maintained: kept up to date with recent releases.
- Merchant-approved: rated 4.0+ by real merchants.
A product has to do well on all four to earn the badge. Only a small share will carry it, which is what keeps it a genuine signal of the top tier.
As our testing grows and we raise the bar over time, the criteria for the badge will continue to evolve. That’s by design, so the badge stays meaningful as the Marketplace gets stronger.
The badge is something a product keeps earning. Every badged product is re-checked as it ships updates, and as merchant ratings come in, so it has to keep meeting the bar on all four factors to hold the badge.
