WooCommerce Bookings 3.11.0 and 3.12.0: multi-product calendar filtering, tighter capacity checks, correct booking discounts, and steadier Google Calendar sync

WooCommerce Bookings 3.11.0 and 3.12.0 add multi-product filtering to the bookings calendar and close several ways a slot could be booked, priced, or displayed wrong. Most of the work is reliability, and it all applies on update.

Filter the calendar by several products. You can now select more than one product when filtering the bookings calendar, so a store running a few services or rooms sees them side by side instead of switching between them. The calendar also loads faster on stores with many bookings. Booking reminders are now logged in WooCommerce > Status > Logs, so you can check whether a reminder was scheduled and sent.

Fewer bookings that shouldn’t exist. Two customers going for the last open slot at the same moment are now checked in order. Rescheduling from the admin rechecks the product’s rules and live availability before it saves, and manual bookings that fail validation are rejected instead of being created at zero cost. Deleted availability rules stay deleted, and no booking can start before the product’s minimum bookable date.

A calendar that shows what’s open. Fully booked days no longer show as partially booked when the previous day’s time blocks run to midnight, and open slots no longer disappear when times display in the customer’s timezone. The calendar stays disabled until availability finishes refreshing, so customers can’t pick a slot from stale data. Expired Store Availability rules no longer appear, and category filtering on availability calendars works again.

Discounts and prices that add up. Per-person booking coupons can’t discount more than the remaining booking price, respect coupon usage limits, and now check product restrictions and exclusions per booking, so only eligible bookings get the discount. They also no longer break empty carts or carts that mix bookable and regular products. Advanced pricing rules use your store’s decimal separator, so “12,50” gets the value you entered.

Customers and admins see what was booked. The cart shows the full date range for multi-day and multi-month bookings, and order details show the duration the customer picked. Bookings added from the admin now have a Customer timezone field, so they keep the right time when “Display visitor’s local time” is on. Paid orders that contain only virtual bookings and virtual downloadable products now complete automatically.

Google Calendar sync that holds up. Large calendars import in batches and pick up where they left off on the next sync. If Bookings can’t find a booking’s existing Google event, it retries instead of creating a duplicate. Custom Google OAuth client secrets are now encrypted and hidden in settings.

3.11.0 also includes about two dozen access-control and data-protection fixes: permission checks on admin, import, and export workflows, protected folders for booking CSV files, and limits on what public availability requests can return. None of these change how you run bookings day to day.

How to get it

Update to WooCommerce Bookings 3.12.0 in your WooCommerce dashboard; it includes everything in 3.11.0. Your site now needs WordPress 7.0 and WooCommerce 11.1 or later, up from WordPress 6.9 and WooCommerce 10.9 in 3.11.0, so update those first if you’re on older versions. Everything applies automatically, with no settings to change.
