Multiple Shipping Addresses

Allow customers to add multiple shipping addresses and ship items to different addresses under the same order. This makes the order process fast, smooth, and user-friendly.

To start using a product from WooCommerce.com, you can use the “Add to store” functionality on the order confirmation page or the My subscriptions section in your account.

  1. Navigate to My subscriptions.
  2. Find the Add to store button next to the product you’re planning to install.
  3. Follow the instructions on the screen, and the product will be automatically added to your store.

After activation of the WooCommerce Multiple Shipping Addresses extension, you can find the “Multiple Shipping Addresses” section in your WooCommerce settings menu. To configure the plugin, follow these steps.

General Settings

Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Multiple Shipping Addresses and click on the “General Settings” section to configure the following.

  • Allow Guests to Use Multiple Shipping: Select whether to allow guest users to ship items to multiple addresses. You can choose “Yes” or ”No” based on your preference.
  • Restrict Multiple Shipping by User Role: Select the user roles for which the multiple shipping addresses feature will not be available. Leave empty to allow for all user roles.
  • Maximum Shipping Addresses Allowed: Set the maximum number of shipping addresses a customer can use during checkout. Use 0 or leave it empty to allow unlimited addresses.
  • Minimum Item Quantity for Multi-Shipping: Specify the minimum quantity required for a product to qualify for multiple shipping addresses. Enter 0 or leave blank to allow any quantity.

Click on the “Save Changes” button to save the settings you configured.

Shipping Address Form Configuration

In this section, you can configure the form for adding shipping addresses. Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Multiple Shipping Addresses and click on the “Shipping Address Form” section to configure the settings.

  • Address Identifier Label Text: Customize the label text shown for the address identifier field (e.g., Name this address). Examples include Office address, Mary Jones, MJ 2145, etc.
  • Require First Name: Make the first name field mandatory for each shipping address. Select “Yes” or “No” based on your preference.
  • Require Last Name: Make the last name field mandatory for each shipping address.
  • Enable Phone Number Field: Show the phone number field for each shipping address by choosing “On” or “Off.
  • Require Phone Number: Make the phone number field mandatory for each shipping address. You can select “Yes” or “No.”

Customizing Shipping Address Form Colors

In this tab, you can personalize the colors of the shipping address form. Go to WooCommerce Settings > Shipping Address Form Color and customize the following:

  • Shipping Buttons Text Color: Customize the text color for the “Add New Address” and “Split & Ship to Multiple Addresses” buttons displayed during checkout or address selection.
  • Shipping Buttons Background Color: Define the background color for the “Add New Address” and “Split & Ship to Multiple Addresses” buttons during checkout or in the address selection interface.
  • Your Addresses Label Color: Set the text color for the “Your Addresses” label in the user’s address tab to match your store design.
  • Card Title Color: Adjust the color for titles on shipping address cards, such as ‘Company’ or ‘Home’.
  • Card Background Color: Configure the background color for shipping address cards to differentiate them from the rest of the interface.
  • Card Body Text Color: Set the text color for the details within each shipping card, including name, address, and phone number.
  • Card Action Links Color: Customize the color of action links like View, Edit, and Delete shown on each shipping address card.
  • Modal Title Color: Define the text color for titles displayed in modal windows.
  • Modal Label Color: Set the color for labels positioned above form fields inside modals.
  • Modal Placeholder Color: Adjust the text color for placeholder text inside modal form fields.
  • Modal Submit Button Background Color: Choose the background color for the submit button in modal forms.
  • Modal Submit Button Text Color: Customize the text color of the submit button within modals.
  • Shipping Footer Divider Color: Define the color of the divider line appearing in the shipping address footer.

Click the “Save Changes” button to save and implement the changes you configured.

Email Settings

In this section, you can configure the emails sent to customers. Go to WooCommerce Settings > Email Settings and configure the following:

  • Email Subject Text: Define the subject line for shipping notification emails. Include {order_id} to dynamically display the customer’s order number.
  • Email Header Title Text: Set the text displayed in the colored header bar at the top of the email.
  • Greeting Text: Customize the greeting shown at the beginning of the email. Use {customer_name} to insert the recipient’s name automatically.
  • Intro Text: Provide a short introductory message below the header. Include {order_status} to show the current order status and {order_id} if needed.
  • Header Background Color: Adjust the background color of the email header bar to match your brand style.
  • Header Text Color: Set the text color for content displayed inside the email header bar.
  • Body Background Color: Define the background color for the main section of the email body.
  • Body Text Color: Customize the default text color used throughout the email body.
  • Card Background Color: Set the background color for item and address cards included in the email.
  • Item Name and Quantity Text Color: Adjust the text color for item names and quantities shown inside the email.
  • Item Status Text Color: Set the text color for status labels associated with items.
  • Shipped Address Section Text Color: Define the text color for the “Shipped to Address” section within the email.
