The WooCommerce Coming Soon template shows visitors a holding page while you prepare a new store or make changes.

When the Coming Soon template is active, it replaces your store’s usual pages with a custom page. This helps set customer expectations and keeps them informed while you prepare your site for launch or make significant updates. You can also use this page to capture leads, share contact information, or direct visitors to other online channels while your store is unavailable.
Access the Coming Soon Page Template
↑ Back to topTo edit the template, use a block theme. Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Site visibility, then select the Editor link under Coming soon.
Layout of Coming Soon Page Template
↑ Back to topIn WooCommerce 11.1, the Default Coming Soon design inherits your active theme’s colors and typography.
The layout includes your site logo and title, one outlined Log in button, and a heading that says “{Site name} is coming soon.” Your tagline appears below the heading when one is set. The footer contains the Coming Soon social links.
Edit the heading, tagline, and social links to suit your store.
Pre-Built Design Patterns
↑ Back to topWooCommerce 11.1 includes Default Coming Soon, Image Gallery, Coming Soon With Header and Footer, Minimal Left Image, Modern Black, and Split Right Image. Choose a design as a starting point in the Site Editor; your theme and existing customizations can affect the result.
These patterns provide layouts with different arrangements of text and images.
Change content or add and remove blocks in the Site Editor. The Default design starts with theme colors and typography; use the selected blocks’ available controls for individual changes, or Styles for changes across your theme. Theme-wide changes can affect other pages too.
For the design selection steps and image replacement instructions, see Coming soon page template.
Check your Coming Soon page
↑ Back to topSave your template changes, then open your site in a private browser window while Coming Soon mode is enabled. Check the heading, tagline, links, and layout. Administrators and shop managers can view the store while signed in, so use the signed-out view to check what visitors see.
If the page looks different, check whether Apply to store pages only is enabled under WooCommerce > Settings > Site visibility. That setting uses a different layout with your theme’s header and footer. Your theme may provide its own Coming Soon template, and saved customizations can affect the result. Selecting a prebuilt design replaces the template content.
