In order to accept cards issued for health savings accounts (HSAs) or flexible spending accounts (FSAs), merchants must be using one of of the MCCs listed below.
Please keep in mind that:
- You can change your MCC if you need to in order to accept HSA/FSA cards.
- Card issuers can still decline HSA or FSA payments at their discretion.

The following MCCs have special notes:
- Medical Services and Health Practitioners — MCC 8099
- This MCC cannot be selected during the WooPayments signup process, but it may be possible to switch to this MCC. Contact support for assistance.
- Drug Stores and Pharmacies — MCC 5912
- This MCC is not supported on WooPayments.
- Health and Beauty Spas — MCC 7298
- This MCC is supported, but is not eligible to receive HSA or FSA payments.
