We sometimes need to edit orders (remove or swap a product, manually apply a discount, etc.) before processing. We used to be able to do this just fine. However, with the most recent update to the WooCommerce Stripe Gateway, we’re no longer able to edit orders that are “On Hold” status. The following message display: “This order is no longer editable.”
I was told the reason for this change was to prevent fraud. I understand not allowing orders to be edited for an amount greater than the initial authorization, but we should still be able to edit them if the order total remains the same (or less).
