Stripe for WooCommerce

Stripe has supported Bizum as a payment method in Spain since May 2026, but the WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway extension does not currently support it. Bizum shows as “Enabled” in the Stripe payment method configuration used by the store, but it does not appear in the plugin’s Payment Methods settings, nor at checkout, even though other Stripe methods (Cards, Klarna) work correctly through the same integration.

This was confirmed by both Stripe support and WooCommerce support (forum thread: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/bizum-enabled-in-stripe-but-not-showing-at-checkout/).

Bizum is a very widely used payment method in Spain (comparable to Bancontact in Belgium or BLIK in Poland, both of which are already supported by the plugin). Adding support would help Spanish merchants offer a payment method their customers already expect.
