It would be nice to have a way to allow the addition of brand fonts. Or maybe the possibility to use theme fonts, or have access to more fonts in general.
Adding Color Picker and Google Fonts Picker fields to the Product Add-Ons for WooCommerce plugin would make product customization much more flexible and visually engaging. A Color Picker could provide a standard HTML5 color selector, HEX value output, optional default color, and a color preview in the cart and checkout, making it useful for products such as t-shirts, mugs, phone cases, and other customizable items. A Google Fonts Picker could integrate with the Google Fonts API, offer searchable font selection with live previews, return the selected font family name, and optionally filter fonts by categories such as serif, sans-serif, or display. Both fields could store their selections as custom metadata while remaining compatible with existing pricing and conditional logic. For example, a personalized mug could let customers choose a color, select a font, and even enter text created with a cursed text generator for a distinctive design. These additions would improve the admin configuration experience, provide clearer frontend previews, and expand the plugin’s usefulness for personalized products, business cards, posters, apparel, and other visual customization projects.
