Currently, validation errors such as when a customer tries to book a date earlier than your minimum, appear at the top of the page. Suggest to provide an option for the error to appear in-line and/or for the calendar to simply not list those days as available in the first place

Thanks for the suggestion.
In current versions of WooCommerce Bookings, invalid dates (such as those before the configured minimum lead time, or outside the bookable range) are already pre-disabled in the calendar, so customers cannot select them in the first place. That removes the need for the validation error in the common cases described.
