Cascading bundles

I’d like to add product bundles to another bundle. What’s the scenario?

Say, I offer several diagnostic programs, each of which consist of items like vision test, spirometry, counselling, etc. as simple products.
I want these items at a fixed price.
Now these items are NOT optional in the respective bundle. They are priced individually, so the bundle product reveives an automatically calculated price derived from its items.

On the next level I want a single order item, which goes along with Tyche’s appointment plugin. This is a product bundle, too, but its bundled items are those product bundles described above. In this case, the bundled items are optional and chosen by the user. Via individual pricing this top level bundle receives its total net price from the lower level bundles’ prices.

Ideally the total duration can also be derived from the simple items’ total duration, but that would be Tyche’s issue.

    Hey there,

    Thank you for your feedback!

We don’t have any plans to allow the addition of a Bundle as a bundled item to another Bundle. However, if you are looking to group Bundles together, I recommend adding them as options to a Composite Product: https://woocommerce.com/products/composite-products/. Here’s an example: https://woocommerce.com/document/composite-products-advanced-configuration/#multiple-options.
