Delete line items when deleting bundle from subscription
Our customers can subscribe to meal packs/bundles and often want to swap bundles around. When we delete a bundle manually from the admin backend we also have to delete every $0 line item which is incredibly time consuming. It would be better if when deleting the bundle that contains the $0 line items, the line items would get deleted automatically.

You are right that both when editing an order and a Subscription from the admin area and you remove the container Bundle product, the individual bundled items are not removed automatically. In admin context, merchants usually do not have any restrictions as to what they can do — for example, you can add an out of stock product to an admin order, even though this is not allowed via the standard checkout process. To cater for more use cases, we allow merchants to remove the container Bundle product without removing the individual bundled items.
I definitely understand that in cases where Bundles contain a lot of bundled items and you would like to remove the entire Bundle with all its items, this can be time consuming. I will leave this request open for now and re-visit this if it gets more votes.
