Pick specific product category for specific variations of products at the variations level

I created my new Product Categories in order to create my new Facebook Sets

I Don’t have the possibility to create a Facebook Set including 2 pink products because my 2 pink products are variations of 2 different products and the Categories can only be selected at the Product’s level and not Variation level

Can this Product Categories setting be added in the “Product data/Variations” level
