Currently, WooCommerce Bookings respects the site’s “Week Starts On” setting only for the main booking calendar, while smaller date pickers (e.g., the mini-calendar used for selecting start dates) default to Sunday regardless of the site or plugin settings. This inconsistency can confuse users and reduce the overall UX, especially for regions where the week typically starts on Monday.
We’d like to request that all calendar elements across WooCommerce Bookings—including smaller embedded or pop-up calendars—honor the WordPress and Bookings settings for week start day. This would ensure consistency across the site and improve usability for international users.
Use case: Our site is configured to start weeks on Monday, and this behavior is correctly applied in the main booking view. However, the smaller calendar widgets do not reflect this, which has led to booking mistakes and user support requests.
