These new countries join the United States (US), Canada, and United Kingdom (UK), where card-present payments are already available.
How to collect payments
↑ Back to topConnect a WisePad 3 card reader to your phone or tablet. Your store’s products load immediately, so you can start taking orders straight away.
Create orders from the Order tab in the iOS or Android app, then collect a payment using the card reader to complete the order.
On tablets, Point of Sale (POS) gives you a faster checkout flow: your full catalog is available locally, so barcode scans and searches are instant. The WisePad 3 is ready to process a payment as soon as you tap checkout.
In-person payments work through WooPayments or the WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway.

Canadian stores already have in-person payments and POS through WooPayments — Stripe Payment Gateway support is coming in an upcoming release.

Edited 8th June 2026 – A previous version of this post referred to 13 new countries, however, we have had to reduce the availability to the ten countries mentioned in this post, seven of which are new. We will continue to consider and work on bringing card present payments to new countries, including those we had to remove.
