How to test if WP-Cron is working

Having a working cron system is important for running WooCommerce Subscriptions. Recurring automatic payments and other functions are dependent on timing-sensitive actions; to implement those actions, cron must be working.

To test whether WP-Cron is working:

In your site’s WP Admin dashboard, navigate to Posts > Add New.
In the Publish meta box, next to the text that says “Publish immediately,” click the Edit link.
Select a date and time from the fields that appear, then click OK.
Once complete, click the Schedule button.
Check to see whether the post was published at (or near) the scheduled time.
