What this extension does

Running your store from spreadsheets is great – until stock in WooCommerce and stock in your sheet don’t match.

Stock Sync Sheets for WooCommerce connects your Google Sheets directly to your WooCommerce products. It reads your inventory from one or more sheets, matches each row to the correct product, and updates:

• Stock quantity
• Stock status (In stock / Out of stock)

No more constant CSV imports, no more copy-paste mistakes, and far fewer “sorry, we’re actually out of stock” emails.

How it works

1. Connect your sheet
   • Add your Google Sheets API key and sheet ID.
   • Choose the sheet/tab that contains your stock data.
   • Tell the extension which columns hold the model code / product name and quantity.
2. Map products from sheet → WooCommerce
   • The extension reads each row and looks for a matching product using your chosen field (often model code, SKU, or product name).
   • Confident matches are auto-linked.
   • Anything unclear is sent to manual review, where you can pick the correct product from a search-able list.
3. Run a dry sync (recommended first)
   • See what will change before anything is updated.
   • Review matches, confirm or adjust them, and make sure the quantities look right.
4. Sync your inventory
   • When you’re happy with the preview, run a live sync.
   • Stock quantity and stock status are updated for the matched products.
5. Optional: schedule automatic syncs
   • Set a schedule (for example, every hour, daily, or weekly) so stock stays in sync without you logging in.

If some of these features differ slightly in your current build, you can simply delete or adjust that bullet (e.g. if scheduling is v1.1+ only).
