In-person payments and Point of Sale are live in 13 new countries

If you sell at markets, pop-ups, or brick-and-mortar stores in one of these countries, you’ve probably been running two separate systems (one for in-person, one for online) and reconciling them at the end of a long day. In-person card payments with the WooCommerce app are now available in these 13 new countries. Every sale updates your store automatically, so inventory and reporting stay current.

The new countries join the United States (US), Canada, and United Kingdom (UK), where card-present payments are already available.

Create orders from the Order tab in the iOS or Android app, then collect a payment using the card reader to complete the order.

What’s next

Australian store support is coming in early June. Canadian stores already have in-person payments through WooPayments — POS and Stripe Payment Gateway support are coming in an upcoming release.
