Feeling Inspired?

We know you love business themes here at Woo, as you can see from our theme leaderboard. So closely following Apz is another business theme designed in-house by myself.

Inspire continues where Optimize left off, adding a dynamic custom homepage that uses custom built jQuery in the featured area.

jQuery driven Featured Area

The custom homepage is similar to our other business themes, as it has a mini-features area and a custom widgetized area on right and in the footer. You can easily add more content above or below the mini-features area from the options panel.

Mini-features area

I’d also like to mention that we included the new Google Font replacement javascript in this theme for the first time, using the Droid Sans and Droid Serif fonts. It really makes the theme look unique compared to those standard web-safe fonts. If you don’t like it you can simply turn it off in the theme options.

Other features include a jQuery driven portfolio page template, easily change background image and color and lots of custom Woo widgets to put in your sidebars or footer.

Heard enough? Check out the theme details and head over to the demo now!

    • You’re right, there’s not a big difference.

    • Major difference is the featured area, and different layout of homepage. But they are very similar 🙂

  3. Beautiful! I like this even more than Optimize – looks more unique and the sub-pages look cleaner. Definitely thinking of buying so good thing there is 3-for-1!

  4. I love Optimize and I love this too. Excellent job as always Magnus. I will certainly purchase this one. Good to see Woothemes getting back to the business themes again as you guys are so good at developing them.

  6. Looks great Magnus. Nothing wrong with creating similar themes in my book especially when both of them are killer. Also its really cool you took advantage of Google fonts so fast.

    • Thanks Brad, yeah the Google Fonts was so easy to integrate compared to Cufon/Sifr, so we’ll be using it much more.

  7. I wish I could feel inspired, but this is basically the same thing as optimized aside from a bit of styling. Different slider used granted.

Little disappointed still if I’m being honest.

Always been curious, since you guys build off the 960 grid why don’t you you have built in support for column classes to use in posts/pages?

    • Can’t please everybody, but it seems to be an instant hit with the majority 🙂 We don’t use the 960 grid anymore as it is a pain to support for our users.

  8. hi,

    great work.

I do however have one BIG problem with your custom navigation framework.

    It will not accept chinese.

The posts, post title and everything else is fine i can use without fault.

When I make a new category in wordpress its great no problems but as soon as I add it to the custom navigation and press save it goes pearshaped.

Please can you fix this for me. I cant use any of the themes!

    Regards.

    Sven

        • p.s the google font replacement beats the cufon thingy hands down.

not only does it seem a lot quicker to convert it lets you display other languages normally as cufon just wouldnt display it all.

          Happy camper here!!

          • Yep faster and less of a hassle as we don’t have to generate the font stack 🙂

How did you solve the problem? I came to have the same issue but can do nothing about it. I tried Google only found useful information here.
          Thanks in advance.

  9. Magnus, your themes are always clean, look great and are well coded. There’s a certain minimalism that allow your themes to be really malleable and fit a variety of needs.
