How does it work?

Product no longer available

• A user will normally see a notice saying an item is “No longer available for purchase” when they visit the product page of an out-of-stock item.
• With the Alternate Product Recommendations for WooCommerce plugin, users will see the same notification with an alternate single item, or multiple items, to consider in its place.

Single alternate product

When a user visits a single product page that is no longer available for purchase, an alternate product is displayed for the user’s consideration.

Multiple alternate products

When a user visits a single product page that is no longer available for purchase, multiple alternate products are displayed for the user’s consideration.

Products are available

When products are available, an alternate recommended product or products are displayed.

Single recommended alternate product

When a user visits a single product page that is available for purchase, an alternate product will be displayed to the user for their consideration.

Multiple recommended alternate products

When a user visits a single product page that is available for purchase, multiple alternate products will be displayed to the user for their consideration.
