Product Add-Ons for WooCommerce

Trending
Offer add-ons like gift wrapping, special messages or other special options for your products.

Social media shop integration

1. When showing the price range of a product on my woocommerce store, the product add on price is not factored in that range. For example the product may display a product with a price range of $300- $500 with a button “select option” beneath it. However, those options only pertain to the woocommerce attributes and variable, and not product addons.

2. Google shopping now provides a buy now button where customers can select product variables and purchase products with one click. However, only the woocommerce attributes and variables show up and not product add ons. This is the same for the instagram and Facebook shop. Therefore, not all of the options are available for selection so the prices are not accurate. Customers are now buying through social media platforms, so it is imperative that the product addons is able to integrate seamlessly with seller shops. Please keep me updated if you guys can make this happen. This is major for woocommerce stores.

    Hey there,

Thank you for getting in touch and sharing your feedback!

You are right that the price of required Product Add-Ons is not included in the product’s Catalog price. As we haven’t received any significant amount of requests about this feature, it hasn’t been prioritized. I will leave this request open to track demand and re-evaluate it if it gets more votes.

Specifically for Google Shopping, there are multiple plugins that allow you to connect your WooCommerce store with Google Shopping, for example: https://woocommerce.com/products/google-product-feed/. These plugins also have integrations with specific WooCommerce extensions that introduce new product types or add new product options to ensure that they are transferred correctly to Google — example: https://woocommerce.com/document/google-product-feed-extension-compatibility/. If the Google plugin you are using doesn’t have an integration with Product Add-Ons, then I recommend either getting in touch with the team that maintains them or post a new feature request in its Feature Requests board.
