Auto Archive Old Orders
Since WordPress v6.1 the Site Health check has started recommending if you should be using a “Persistent Object Cache” without actually explaining why but on our site the reason is because … We have more than 1,000 rows in wp_comments (11,152) We have more than 1,000 rows in wp_posts (4,437) Both of these are being […]

“shipped” order status
Customer places an order, order status is “Processing” while the product is being picked up and packaged. Then the product is shipped and the order status changes to “Shipped”. Finally the customer receives their product and the order status is changed to “Order completed”

Make Analytics interface more extensible
The current Analytics reports are great, but code-wise, they’re not very extensible. For example, even the Woo Subscriptions plugin has yet to integrate with it (presumably they’re unable to right now). Ideally, 3rd party developers should be able to extend this interface in many ways: 1. Easily add table columns with new data 2. Filter […]

Improved Customer View with order history
Currently, when I click on a customer’s name under WooCommerce > Customers, I am redirected to the WordPress user profile. However, I would suggest that clicking on a customer’s name should instead redirect to a dedicated customer page. This customer page could display all of the orders associated with that customer, along with various statistics […]

fix the free shipping for order above $X
On my store, customers qualify for free shipping if their cart total is above $60, otherwise they pay $5 for shipping. I can set the minimum threshold, but if they reach the $60 there are two shipping methods, the paid and the free one, which makes no sense, since those are the same shipping method. […]

Address fields not required for virtual products (store offering physical products and virtual products)
Some sites offer both virtual and physical products. In this case, the postal address fields are systematically required for the buyer. But these fields aren’t useful if the customer is only buying virtual products… and that hurts conversions. So I think it would be interesting to add a feature to not ask for the address […]

TinyMCE (WYSIWYG) editor for category description
It would be nice to have an option to turn on the TinyMCE (WYSIWYG) editor for the category description. This would be great for SEO purposes so it would be easier to add text format like H1, H2 titels, bullet points en bold text.

inventory history
Today we have a gigantic job to map stock errors or identify flaws in it. Having a detailed map of what happened to the product’s stock would certainly convey a much greater air of confidence to the platform. A panel for launching inventory would also be appreciated. Modifying the inventory becomes very vinable since you […]

Variable product backend UX
Adding attributes first, then saving, then moving to the variations tab, then generating them, then editing them one by one is really cumbersome. We need a 1-tab table editing interface. See BigCommerce example in the attahment In this way one has more control over the attributes / variations and there is no confusion
