Note: As of August 2020, you can configure only one mailbox ID for Help Scout, and once set, you should not change it to another. Else, it will give an error as the other account won’t recognize the customers associated with the first account. We are currently working on this and will update you soon about it.

    This plugin causes so many issues with Woocommerce. It's the most flawed plugin of the 85 that we use. It's an incredibly basic plugin with incredibly widespread conflicts and flaws, and there's no alternative. Support takes days to respond, which is insane when it's a paid plugin. Every single time we report issues to our hosting company, they respond that they determined it's caused by this plugin.     It seems like this plugin has been abandoned. They claim it works with HPOS, but it doesn't...at least not with guest orders. I reported the bugs over 2 months ago and even sent them the likely solutions. Support acknowledged the bugs and said a fix would be released in an upcoming version. It has been almost two months, and no update has been released.

    It's been ok when it's worked, but the developers seem slow to respond to changes within the WooCommerce space. As a recent example, Woo finally retired the legacy API in Oct 2023, although it had been dead for years prior to this. However, this plugin in July 2024 still relies on the legacy API to pull the WooCommerce order data into Help Scout. Sure the basic plugin functionality works, but it's not 100% functional unless you enable compatibility mode in HPOS. That's ok short term, but we've been waiting for an update on this, and it's now 4 months since the last one, and we're now at the point where we're just going to throw in the towel on Help Scout and move to another help desk.       Hi, We released full support for HPOS in April 2023. We Legacy API support support was also removed March 2024. These were both before the removal of the Legacy API by WooCommerce in June 2024.     Basic functionality is left broken for months
    The support seems like they might be helpful, but features that are basic to the plugin are left broken for months without a fix. The button for starting a conversation from an order does not work and confuses customers.
