First Purchase Reward for WooCommerce allows store owners to create customized reward rules to encourage first-time buyers. To set up a reward, navigate to the WooCommerce menu in your WordPress dashboard and select ‘All Reward Rules.’ From there, you can add a new rule and configure conditions based on specific customer actions, such as placing their first order, purchasing selected products, or reaching a spending milestone
The Reward Rules listing page in WooCommerce provides an overview of all configured reward rules. Each rule is displayed in a tabular format with the following columns:
Based on the configured rules, if notification messages are enabled for the shop page, customers will see a message displaying the actual price, the discount amount, and the final price after the discount. Additionally, if the top and bottom notification bars are enabled, they will also be displayed with custom messages set by the admin. These notifications help highlight available discounts and promotional offers, encouraging customers to make a purchase. The admin can fully customize these messages from the settings to align with their branding and marketing strategy.
Flash notifications are dynamic messages that briefly appear on the shop page to highlight discounts, rewards, or special offers. These notifications automatically disappear after a few seconds, creating a sense of urgency for customers. The admin can customize the flash message, set the display duration in seconds, and upload a custom flash image from the settings. This ensures a visually engaging and time-sensitive notification system to boost conversions.
For variable products, the notification initially displays the lowest possible price before the user selects any variation. Once a variation is selected, the notification dynamically updates in real time to reflect the selected variation’s actual price, discount amount, and final price. This interactive pricing display helps users understand how discounts are applied based on their selections, ensuring a clear and engaging shopping experience.
