The Complete WooCommerce Address Autocomplete & Maps Plugin

Turn a slow, six-field address form into a one-tap experience. Address Autocomplete & Maps adds Google Places address autocomplete to your WooCommerce checkout and My Account pages, then goes further than autocomplete-only plugins with an interactive Google Map and a draggable marker that captures the customer’s exact location.

Customers start typing, pick a suggestion, and every field — street, city, state, and postcode — autofills instantly with a real, valid address. The map lets them confirm or fine-tune the precise spot, and the latitude and longitude are saved to the order so your delivery drivers and dispatch tools get pinpoint coordinates.

If you want faster checkout, fewer address errors, and more accurate deliveries — without touching a line of code — this is the one plugin that handles the entire address experience on both the modern WooCommerce Checkout Blocks and the classic checkout.

How It Works

  1. Customer starts typing their address in the autocomplete field.
  2. Google Places suggests matching real-world addresses as they type.
  3. One tap fills everything — address, city, state, postcode, and country.
  4. Optional map appears with a marker they can drag to their exact door.
  5. Coordinates are saved to the order for precise, delivery-ready fulfillment.

Who This Plugin Is Built For

Conversion-Focused Stores

Every hand-typed field is a chance to abandon checkout. One-tap autocomplete removes friction so more shoppers reach payment.

Stores Shipping Physical Products

Mistyped addresses mean failed deliveries, reshipping costs, and support tickets. Real Google address data gets it right the first time.

Local & Same-Day Delivery

The draggable map marker pins the customer’s exact door, and the saved latitude/longitude flow straight to your drivers’ routes — no more “where is this?” deliveries.

Mobile-First Stores

Typing a full address on a phone is slow and error-prone. A few taps on a suggestion list replaces the entire form — a major mobile-conversion win.

International & Multi-Country Stores

Restrict autocomplete to the countries you actually serve and control street-number ordering per region so addresses format correctly worldwide.

Modern Block Checkout Stores

Fully compatible with the WooCommerce Checkout Blocks that ship by default in current WooCommerce — every field populates reliably on block checkout.

Why Store Owners Choose This Plugin

  • Autocomplete and maps in one plugin — most alternatives only autofill text. This adds an interactive map, a draggable marker, and saved coordinates, so you never need to stack multiple tools.
  • Fewer abandoned carts — a frictionless, one-tap address step keeps customers moving toward payment.
  • Accurate, deliverable addresses — suggestions come straight from Google Places, cutting failed deliveries and returns.
  • Delivery-ready coordinates — exact latitude/longitude saved to every order for dispatch and driver navigation.
  • Works with block and classic checkout — full support for WooCommerce Checkout Blocks and the traditional checkout.
  • Built for international selling — limit autocomplete to specific countries with clean fallback everywhere else.

Core Features

1. Google Places Address Autocomplete

Real-time address suggestions as the customer types — on checkout billing, checkout shipping, and both My Account address forms.

2. Automatic Address Autofill

Selecting a suggestion instantly fills Address, City, State, and Postcode and sets the Country. No manual typing, no typos.

3. Interactive Google Map

Show a live Google Map at checkout so customers can visually confirm their location before ordering.

4. Draggable Map Marker (Location Picker)

Let customers drag the marker to their exact spot — the address fields update in real time to match.

5. Latitude & Longitude on Every Order

Exact coordinates are saved to each order, giving your fulfillment, dispatch, and delivery-driver tools precise location data.

6. Per-Country Restrictions

Enable autocomplete and maps only for the countries you serve; standard WooCommerce fields are used everywhere else.

7. Address Format Control

Choose street-number-then-name or name-then-number ordering, apply it per country, and optionally combine Address Line 1 and Line 2.

8. Custom Map Styling & Marker

Style the map with a Snazzy Maps JSON script and set a custom marker icon to match your brand.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this work with the new WooCommerce block checkout?

Yes. It fully supports the modern WooCommerce Checkout Blocks (the default checkout in current WooCommerce) as well as the classic checkout. When a customer selects a suggestion on block checkout, all address fields populate correctly.

Does it just autocomplete, or does it include a map too?

Both. Unlike autocomplete-only plugins, it includes an optional interactive Google Map with a draggable marker, and it saves the selected location’s latitude and longitude to the order — ideal for delivery routing. You can also hide the map and use autocomplete alone.

Which address fields does it fill automatically?

Selecting a suggestion fills Address (street), City, State/County, and Postcode, and sets the Country. It fills your existing WooCommerce fields — no new fields are added.

Does this validate addresses?

It’s an address autocomplete and autofill plugin, not a certified postal-validation service. However, because suggestions come from the Google Places database, customers select real, existing addresses — which prevents most typos and invalid entries and gives you far cleaner, more deliverable data. For certified USPS/postal verification, pair it with a dedicated validation service.

Do I need a Google API key?

Yes. You’ll need a Google API key with the Places API, Maps JavaScript API, and Geocoding API enabled, and billing active on your Google Cloud project (Google provides a monthly free-usage credit that covers most stores). The plugin shows an in-dashboard notice telling you exactly which API to enable if the key is misconfigured.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes — and this is where it shines. Replacing a six-field form with a few taps on a suggestion list dramatically shortens mobile checkout and reduces errors.

Does it work on the My Account address pages?

Yes. You can enable autocomplete on the billing and shipping forms in My Account as well as at checkout, so saved addresses stay accurate.

Can I limit autocomplete to certain countries?

Yes. Choose the countries where autocomplete and maps should appear; all other countries fall back to standard WooCommerce fields automatically.

Does it save the location to the order for delivery?

Yes. When the map is enabled, the selected location’s latitude and longitude are saved to the order — perfect for local delivery, dispatch, and driver navigation.

Will it work with my theme?

Yes. It hooks into WooCommerce’s standard checkout and account forms and works with Storefront, Astra, GeneratePress, OceanWP, Kadence, Divi, and most premium themes.

Is it compatible with HPOS?

Yes. Fully compatible with WooCommerce High Performance Order Storage (HPOS); it reads and writes order data using the WooCommerce order APIs.

Does it slow down my checkout?

No. Scripts load only where autocomplete is enabled and the Google libraries load asynchronously, so there’s no meaningful impact on page speed.

What’s your support response time?

We aim to respond within 12 hours on business days, with most queries resolved within 24 hours. Support is included for the duration of your active subscription.

Is there a money-back guarantee?

Yes. WooCommerce offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on all Marketplace purchases.
