Frequently asked questions

Will this work with my custom user roles or membership plugins?

Yes! Any user role registered in WordPress is supported.

Do I need to configure anything?

The plugin works out of the box, but you can adjust settings for which roles are shown or excluded.

Does it change my existing data?

No, it only enhances reporting and does not modify orders, customers, or roles.

Can I export filtered reports?

Yes! Your exports will include user role data, both before and after filtering.

What happens if I don’t use custom user roles?

The plugin will still work and show “Customer” and “Guest” roles by default.

Does this plugin have options to create or manage user roles?

No, this plugin does not create or manage user roles. It uses the user roles already defined in your WordPress site. If you need to create or customize user roles, you can use a separate user role manager plugin.

Which analytics screens are supported?

Role Based Analytics for WooCommerce currently adds user role filters and columns to these analytics screens:

  1. Orders
  2. Products
  3. Categories
  4. Coupons
  5. Downloads

At this time, the plugin does not support role-based filtering for Revenue, Variations, or Taxes reports—but we are actively working to support these screens in a future update!
