A product photo shows a shopper what something looks like. A video shows them how it moves, how it fits and how big it really is. Smart Reels puts those videos on your store as carousels, grids, and story highlights, and makes every one of them shoppable, so a shopper can watch a clip and add the product to their cart without ever leaving the page they were on.
Attach a video to a product, group your videos into a layout, and choose how it appears. Every format is built from the same reels, so you set the videos up once and reuse them anywhere on the store.

Tapping any video opens a full screen player with the product beside it. Price, discount, variations, and add to cart are all there, so the shopper never has to open the product page to buy.

For simple products, a shopper does not even need the player. The card carries its own add to cart button, and the same WooCommerce validation runs that would run on the product page, so required options and stock rules are respected.
A layout is not locked to one place. Each one carries its own display rules, so the same set of videos can run on a campaign page and under the add to cart button on every product.

The card is the first thing a shopper sees, so it is worth getting right. Pick a design, then adjust it until it belongs to your theme rather than to a plugin.
Views tell you a video was watched. Smart Reels records what happened next, per layout, so you can tell the difference between a clip people watch and a clip people buy from.
Smart Reels plays video from your own WordPress media library. There is no external video service, no API key and no account to create, and nothing about your store or your shoppers is sent anywhere.
One Smart Reels screen sits under the WooCommerce menu, built on the same list tables, filters, and bulk actions as the rest of wp-admin. There is nothing new to learn before you can use it.

You upload them to your own WordPress media library. Smart Reels does not fetch video from TikTok, Instagram or any other platform, and it makes no external requests.
MP4, MOV and WebM. These are the formats browsers can actually play, so a reel that uploads is a reel that works.
Yes. The player shows the variation pickers next to the video, so a shopper can choose size or colour and add to cart without opening the product page.
No. The plugin’s scripts and styles load only on pages that actually show a layout, and nothing runs at checkout.
Yes. Layouts stack to fit the screen, and tapping a video opens a full screen player you swipe through, with the product and an add to cart button over the video.
Yes. Every layout has a shortcode, so it can go on any page or post. You can also tell the layout which pages should load its assets.
Nothing is deleted. Reels and layouts are stored as ordinary WordPress content, so they are still there if you reactivate. Deleting the plugin removes them, which is the point of deleting it.
Yes. Every string in the plugin is translatable.
