Terms & Conditions Tracker is an essential compliance tool for WooCommerce store owners who need legally defensible proof of customer consent. Track exactly when customers accept your terms, privacy policy, marketing opt-ins, and age verification at checkout, with complete audit trails including timestamps, IP addresses, and document versions.
This WooCommerce extension offers comprehensive consent tracking:
Terms & Conditions Tracker is built with privacy and compliance in mind. The plugin gives you full control over what data is collected and how long it’s retained.
You control what gets tracked and for how long, helping you balance compliance requirements with customer privacy expectations.
Consent data is displayed exactly where you need it:
Yes, Terms & Conditions Tracker is fully compatible with both the Classic Checkout and the newer WooCommerce Checkout Blocks. It also supports HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage), so it works seamlessly with modern WooCommerce installations.
Each consent record includes the timestamp, consent type, acceptance status, order ID, and customer ID. You can optionally enable tracking of IP addresses, browser/device information (user agent), and document version hashes. All tracking options can be individually enabled or disabled in the settings.
Yes, in addition to the four pre-built consent types (Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Marketing Communications, and Age Verification), you can create unlimited custom consent checkboxes with your own labels. Each can be set as required or optional independently.
When a customer accepts your Terms & Conditions or Privacy Policy, the plugin captures an MD5 hash of the document content at that moment. If you later update your legal pages, the plugin will show whether a customer's consent was for the "Current" or an "Outdated" version, proving exactly which terms they agreed to.
No, the plugin only tracks consent for orders placed after activation. Orders placed before installation will show "No consent data recorded" in the order metabox. Historical orders are not affected or modified.
