Today is our birthday. Our sixth birthday. Simply to survive is an accomplishment for tech companies of today and we’re grateful and proud that over the last 2191 days we’ve managed to grow and mature within this wonderful ecosystem known as WordPress.
The past year has been filled with more milestones, accolades, and explosive growth than ever before and, naturally, no shortage of growing pains.
Our team has expanded from 30 to 40 team members adding to an already diverse culture of distributed talent; WooCommerce has skyrocketed from 1 million to nearly 4 million downloads and in the last financial year we doubled our revenues and tripled our profit figures. It’s been good, but we take none of it for granted.
We beam with pride when we think about our journey towards today and after last month’s trip are even more determined to reach new heights.
While we enjoy some birthday cake today we wanted to say a big thank you to the community that make our business possible, and chose to do this in two ways (did someone say coupon?):

Is it possible to get price adjustments for purchases inside the 30 day return policy? I spent over $400 this past week on Woo stuff.

For the “Function” theme, is it possible to switch the rows, i.e. the “Our Features” row is switched with the “Product Showcase” row so that the “Product Showcase” is below the top banner instead of the “Our Features”? And can I incorporate google adsense or other affiliate programs into themes like “Hustle” or “Function”? thank you very much.
Re: Function – Yes this is very simple. Create a child theme, copy the index.php template file into it and simply rearrange the code to change the order.
There’s are literally hundreds of adsense plugins for WordPress. I’m sure there is one that would work great but I cannot recommend any personally (never use adsense).

We thank you for the wonderful woocommerce and plugins you offer that allow us to run an e-shop while using WP in a friendly and easy way.
We are not a lot in France to use woocommerce and people who are aware that we run on woo and WP are impressed 🙂
Of course, I got some resquest that would help us a lot 🙂
Here you are :
– add to cart without relaoding the page and without using external plugin (faster, easier for customer)
– having order and invoice numbers the same (if an order is placed but not paid, the invoice number and order number do not follow => really bad for accounting), we have to edit each invoice by hand… Kills us.
– export CSV with order number + invoice number (for accounting reasons)
– make customzible page after payment with a link back to homepage + some “social medias” icons so customers can suscribe (possible by coding I know eheh)
– make the children category with url that does not include the parent category => better SEO (like not http://www.xxx..com/category/shoes/sneakers but category/sneakers) and even remove the “product/” and “category/” from urls would help SEO by shortening the urls (I know that wordpress is the problem in that case)
– make your themes with a good review.php and rating.php that allows rich snippet (easy to get)
– having a partnership (plugin) that works with an accounting french software or so
– Improve the API (the API is saving our lives right now because our warehouse receive the orders directly), It would be nice the API can change the stock on our website by return 🙂
I got some other ideas and would be happy to share 🙂
