Copying a Single Item

Imagine you have a Multisite network with MultilingualPress version 4.6.0 installed and three interconnected sites: one in English, one in Italian, and one in German. Let’s say your German site’s media library is empty while the English site has a photo of Woody Allen. Here’s what you can do.

First, head over to the media library of the English site and pick out the image you want to copy.

On the right-hand side, towards the bottom of the page, you’ll see the “MultilingualPress Setting” section. Here, you can choose to copy the image to all interconnected sites or just one. Once you’ve made your choice, the image will be copied to the selected site’s media library.

If you choose the German site, you’ll find the image waiting for you in the media library.

Bulk Copying Multiple Items

Now, let’s say you want to copy all the content from the Italian site’s media library, which contains three images:

Start by clicking the “Bulk Select” button. This will open up a new section where you can choose which sites you want to copy the files to. Then, select all the files you want to copy from the Italian site and pick the German site as the destination.

Hit the “Copy” button to start the copying process. When you go back to the media library of the German site, you’ll find all three images waiting for you.

With this simple process, you can easily manage and transfer media library content between connected sites in your Multisite network using MultilingualPress. Say goodbye to manual transfers and hello to streamlined content management!
