WooCommerce continues to grow day by day, and as it does we need to react in order to keep up with the ever challenging support demand. Along with our impending switch to zendesk, to improve our WooCommerce support further we’re delighted to announce that we’ve recruited two talented developers who will be focusing on WooCommerce as part of our support team. Everyone please give a warm welcome to Daniel Espinoza (who you may have already met in UserVoice) and Gerhard Potgieter who starts officially on December 1st.
Both developers are seasoned WooCommerce extension developers and their general eCommerce experience will be fantastic assets to the WooCommerce arm of our support team.
But the excitement doesn’t end there…

About
Delicious 😉
That tab manager looks perfect for what I need on my site redesign. Great job as usual!!
Be sure to let us see the redesign when it’s ready!
Welcome guys, I hope you increase power in WOO! Yiihhhaaa
«WooCommerce Subscriptions 1.2: Any payment gateway with a WooCommerce extension can now be used to purchase and renew subscriptions via manual payments» 🙂 Thanks Ninjas!!
You’re welcome. 🙂
Heh, yes! We really should be thanking Brent here. Awesome stuff!
Ok, I just bought and installed the Tab Manager plugin. It works beautifully.
What a time saver, my client (and I) will be very happy. This is a great level of functionality to add to my WooCommerce arsenal. Some uses are for a dedicated support tab that you see in some other larger ecommerce stores, as well as a video only tab. Very very versatile. Great job guys.
That’s perfect Mark, great to hear of all the uses you’ve got in mind already! 🙂
I cannot believe that I wasted so much time and financial efforts with wp-ecommerce…. I am in love with woocommerce more and more…. You guys ROCK….. Keep up with the good work…
PS: Let`s come up with some new woocommerce themes.. 🙂
Just a suggestion…
Thanks
Davys
Thanks for the awesome comment Davys!
We’ve got some updates coming to our existing WooCommerce themes, to make them have more business theme features.
This is also will be happening, in reverse to our business themes. WooCommerce being included in new business themes.
Have you seen any awesome ecommerce sites out there we should make a theme inspired from? 🙂
It’s distressing me that you keep forgetting to give your posts a featured image. It makes the tabs in the sidebar look unfinished.
This is distressing to me too, I’ll see if I can fix it! 😛
Haha!
Is there a release date for WooCommerce 1.7? There are several features/bug fixes I would like that are already in 1.7.
Also, is it safe to simply pull from github and start using that version?
No official ETA at the moment I believe. I think I can tell you we’re using 1.7 on WooThemes though. 😉
Hi Ryan, sorry, don’t understand your message.
You «Will» be using 1.7 with them when it’s released?
or you «Are Currently» using 1.7 with them.
Im deciding on whether to tweak the current release to do what I need, but your 1.7 release notes appears it will make all those changes for me.
Im sure you guys will do a better job at it than me!
I currently use a plugin ‘pro-sites’ from wpmu-dev for WordPress multisite hosting. It controls my ability to ‘sell’ sub-domain websites and also charge for different levels which include access to specific themes and plugins.
I SO WISH, that there was something like prosites for WooCommerce. Has it even hit the radar to have a woocommerce extension that would allow us to manage subscriptions like this? (user gets website, controls space, bandwidth, plugin-theme access, etc?
I just see WooCommerce running so far past all of the competition out there, and I want to use it so bad, yet to date, I don’t see an extension anywhere near like prosites. Hoping it is on the radar as I know the model works. Heck the entire business model of wpmu is based around prosites, whether they admit it or not.
Great News about Daniel E joining the team. He really helped me recently by creating a new Woo Commerce Extension. Don’t know what I would have done without him!!! Yeah!
Any news on when a full fixed release of commission king will be back – its a key one for myself.
i love y’all. seriously…keep doing a great job; coming to the blog on a regular basis is, honestly, fun–who knows what new things I can find to make my shop better. the tab manager is a great helper for me….
would love it if someone would implement a better gallery/variation image manager…the current one is a bit cumbersome and time consuming to use. I’ve found woocommerce ‘dynamic gallery pro’ (not available on the woo site, external) to be a great add-on; would be great if it was rolled in & implemented as tightly as possible…or even a better system.
Wonderful goods from you, man. I’ve be aware your stuff prior to and you’re just too excellent. I really like what you’ve obtained here, really like what you are stating and the way in which through which you say it. You are making it entertaining and you still take care of to keep it sensible. I can not wait to read much more from you. That is actually a great site.
certainly like your web-site but you need to check the spelling on quite a few of your posts. Many of them are rife with spelling issues and I in finding it very troublesome to tell the reality nevertheless I will certainly come back again.
It’s actually a cool and useful piece of info. I am happy that you shared this helpful info with us. Please keep us up to date like this. Thank you for sharing.
