WooCommerce Deposits and Woocommerce Subscriptions have quite a lot of overlap. Its seems logical to include automated payments for Deposits. This would make it a more complete extension and possibly render subscriptions superfluous.

The option to “Invoice the remaining balance” is currently per item. But instead of having to send multiple invoices on several outstanding balances, we should have the ability to send one invoice with the total amount outstanding for all items in the order.
It would be great to automatically apply a discount for customers who pay in full. Currently we are adding a fee to those who only pay a deposit. But from a customer service perspective it would be better for us to surprise people with a discount rather than surprise them with a fee.

I think that it would make sense to allow for deposits on this type of products, as well as grouped and composite. The tend to be larger purchases anyways.
