What is great about this product?
I have found hardly anything you can't do with this product. It's super flexible and fairly easy to customize as needed. Also, whenever I had any issues, I reached out to support, and they got back to me within 24 hours with super helpful responses.
How could it be improved?
It would be great to add info icons all over the place (it’s already in some areas), including a link to the area in the documentation that elaborates on that specific part.

What is great about this product?
It is an incredible product. Very complex and powerful functionality that was implemented in a way that makes things comparatively easy for admin users. Lots of options that will let you create different kind of configurators and meet your specific needs. We got superb support from Manos and his team, that has answered to each and every question we've sent them, and they even have given us suggestions and examples about how to customize their plugin further, which would normally be out of the support agreement!
How could it be improved?
I’d like to see more options in the dashboard pages to customize layouts within the summary widget, or the components options, like disabling pagination for options, hiding the selected component option title, price and thumbnail, changing the location of the add to cart button, etc. without having to do it through priority changes for the actions, or css customizations.

It is a great product and get supported by an excellent team. I had a little issue after the last upgrade and good fast help and it was solved very soon. Even in this case I forgot to set a price, which generated the issue.
How could it be improved?
Not allowing to add elements which are not complete, like missing sales price.

What is great about this product?
I love the configurability of this plugin as it's allowed me to create a fairly complex (for me at least!) package of parts that customers can configure and buy on our website. I had one issue getting this to work exactly how I wanted with the Product Bundles plugin from the same publisher - I contacted the publisher and they were very responsive and they were able to help me resolve my issue. So I am very satisfied with this plugin overall, thank you!
How could it be improved?
I think this is great for 99% of the cases, but in my case I needed to add a bit of custom code, so getting rid of the custom code by adding more options in the plugin would be nice.

What is great about this product?
It just does what it's supposed to do. This might be a bit overwhelming at first (since there's no "best way to do it", just a bunch of powerful options you have to play around with a bit), but once you figure out how the whole shebang works, it's a breeze. The support was stellar, too. Helped me out with customization and it seemed that they really wanted to help and not just to get rid of me ;) Also: Awesome developer documentation/options (makes use of hooks/filters a lot and uses the WooCommerce template system, which allows you to override the default files with custom ones inside your theme folder).
How could it be improved?
Adding a lot of products just for one final composite product can be a bit impractical and might clutter you product list after a while. So it would be great to maybe add a custom post type for that.
Maybe add a couple of templates/styling options for the different composite layouts for less experienced webmasters (if you’re familiar with CSS styling shouldn’t be a problem).

What is great about this product?
Great product to easily extend products in your woocommerce store so much further. Amazing support from the development team who are always quick to answer and eager to help wherever possible. We've been provided with numerous snippets of code to customize our use of this product further which has been truely amazing.
How could it be improved?
Enable easier integration & compatibility with other (third party) products such as wishlists, quotations, etc to further extend woocommerce when using Composite Product types. There still seems to be a real lack of compatible products around.

What do you think about this product?
It took some doing, but this plugin let me add all sorts of levels of product options. Over two dozen different combos are tucked neatly into one product. Support was TERRIFIC!
How could it be improved?
Initial documentation is incredibly dense and confusing. In particular, having to use other products as options -as opposed to the standard attributes – can be really tricky to understand. However, the support staff answered all of my questions, sent me screen shots, function code and we got it all to work in the end. So if they create some more sample set-ups in their documentation, and maybe some videos, I think users will be far less frustrated getting started.

What is great about this product?
Really powerful and configurable. We use it for complex products with many tens of parts each, all of which have right and wrong options and compatibility constraints. The Composite Products plugin handles it all very well. Customer service has been really helpful too when I've needed to make a couple of code modifications.
How could it be improved?
A dynamic main image which changes as the composite options are changed would be a really nice addition.

Great features, Quality code and fantastic support
How could it be improved?
The support which comes with this plugin is a great example of the WordPress ecosystem of paid plugins generally being good investments. The plugin’s features are very useful and their support saved me hours of work by answering my question fully (with a code snippet!) rather than just signposting me in the right direction.

What is great about this product?
It helps let customers build their own packages from components that you set. Rather than making every package yourself, you give your customers the opportunity to build the packages according to their needs.
How could it be improved?
Should have the option to add design costs if adding certain components increases the labour for us. Sometimes you have to pay different amounts based on what components you ask the workers to assemble. Currently, you can only build this funcitonality into your components plugin via scenarios which takes a long time and strenuous effort if you have lots of products/components.

This plugin is a tiny bit complicated to use because there are so many options but it works perfectly once you get the hang of it.
I needed support for a problem I was having and support came through very quickly. I will use this plugin again on future projects!

Great extension with excellent customer service
How could it be improved?
This extension has been a life saver for my WooCommerce site. Some of my products can have as many as 13 configurable options, and just using dropdown menus wasn’t going to cut it.
Additionally when I reached out to the developer with some problems I had while customizing the plugin for my theme, they were extremely helpful. Great customer service.

What is great about this product?
This plugin isn't for the faint hearted, but don't let that put you off because the support is superb. If you have a complex custom configuration product, then this is powerful enough to do you want if you're prepared to get your head around the logic. Once the penny drops, you'll get it!
How could it be improved?
I’d say more comprehensive documentation would help, but I’m not sure it would be possible to realistically expand this as there are so many possibilities which could not be covered. This is where the great support comes in because every solution will likely be bespoke to the individual’s requirement.

Great product, even greater Support! We wanted to make a customization with the Cart view of the composite products, but didn't know how. Within a few hours support sent us a snippet for free and everthing worked immediately just like we wanted it to work.

Super customizable, and the support is amazing. The documentation is good, but because the plugin does so much, it's helpful to be able to ask specific questions and get fast and detailed responses. I have had very good success with it!

What do you think about this product?
We've been using it for over two year on two sites. For our use case (bundles of multiple variable and single products, some optional) it has cost us too much time to enter and maintain the shop. In the end we decided to simply stop offering bundles of variable products and are now using Elementor + ACF Pro to handle things. The low score is party for the user interface, mostly because of a bug where both Woo and this plugin could not find a solution for. On the bright side, their support is very responsive and attentive! For that the get an extra star. I do really wish they would start over, especially with the UI. See comment below.
How could it be improved?
Start from scratch, look at real-world use cases and the people who use them. Re-think the UX/UI. Lower the price. We found a better alternative at a lower price.

That plugin could really use improvement. So called preset builder for products. So that people could select product preset they like and customize ( select components ) based on preset.

This product has been a huge enabler for our store and we couldn't operate without it. The documentation is extremely good and the developers are friendly and will usually answer questions within a few hours.

We are always careful when evaluating new plugins, because sometimes they are not compatible with the composite products plugin.

Fantastic plug-in. Combined with Product Bundles - and some *amazing* support from the developers - it has allowed me to do exactly what I need and without tearing my hair out! Couldn't be happier!

Nothing that I can find at the moment. It would be unfair to ask for the snippets I needed to be core features maybe, as my usage is not 100% standard. It’s great as it is!

What is great about this product?
I believe we have been using this product for about six years. I was initially very happy with it but really didn't have any other options. In the past two years, however, that has changed. I am now very happy with it and would strongly recommend it. We still have the odd tech issue with it, but the developers are extremely responsive. They find solutions the same or next business day. I really can't ask for more.

Very supportive dev team! This plugin is outstanding for adding add-ons to existing products and we were able to use it to add optional activities to our event signups. There was no other WooCommerce plugin I could find with this much versatility!

You can do basically anything with this product. It's a little thick to figure out a first, but once you get the hang of it, there's no stopping you. The support is excellent!

What is great about this product?
The most powerful custom product builder we've seen for any eccommerce platform. Does pretty much everything we need it to. On the occasions I have had to use the support, it has been excellent, the team obviosuly know the product inside out.
How could it be improved?
Not much needs improving.
For large configurations such as ours (PC Builder) it would be useful to have a price and add to cart button that scrolled with the page.

What is great about this product?
The product works well. We can get a complex services quote out fast for our prospects. Pretty good for multi nested products. There was a theme issue on component options titles overlapping the drop down arrows in mobile view. Maria, their tech support person, stepped up and resolved it (a theme CSS issue). Solid support overall.

A video on the component configuration process.

What is great about this product?
It does what it says, and it does it well. It is perhaps something some users might find a bit complicated, but with the extensive literature and a fantastic support staff, you should be able to work out the right solution for your needs.
How could it be improved?
Maybe a bit of UI simplification for the less technically inclined, and a bit more easily done customization options. The ability to (so called) skin the interface to match branded content would be great. As always, if you have good knowledge of CSS and PHP you can customize anything, but making this more user friendly would be awesome!

It works like a charm. My question was quite complex: I want composite products, but I want cutomers to be able to choose all variations of the products in the bundles. The combination of two plugins 'bundles' and 'composite products' does the job! I'm very grateful for the support I received. Is was really helpfull and I couldn't have done it without!

Good product with many different features. I utilise this to add additional products to another product with their own prices. Support is very thorough and they contact you almost straight away with a solution.
How could it be improved?
The ability to change the total product price automatically on the product page when more quantities are added.

What didn't you like about this product?
Bascially the plugin did not do what I wanted to do. I wanted a minimalistic look where 2 products could be selected in one go from the size and the stock levels were adjusted accordingly behind the scenes. Apparently this requires coding. Having separate product selctions felt quite bulky on the product page and then having to have several dropdown that effective only want the same result i.e. size doesn't give the customer a smooth experience when you have multiple items and I only had 2. Also had an annoying box telling you to select certain items which does not need to be there. Support was good which is why it didn't get 1 star.
How could it be improved?
When I bought this I was told it would do what I wanted. Unfortunately that was sometime ago and I didn’t really implement the plugin properly until recently when I found out it ssisn’t do the job. I think the main improvement would be how the composites look on the product page, I think this could be impproved massively and being able to change the thumbnail sizes or make them smaller.

Fantastic customer service. Not only is this a great, well-built plugin, but it's also supported well too. Had an issue, contacted the developer and within 24 hrs received a helpful, detailed response that helped me realize it was another plugin causing my issue. Don't hesitate if you're a developer on the bubble about getting this plugin. One of the more substantial plugins I've used to date.
How could it be improved?
Add the ability for selecting number of columns in narrow or wide layouts. However, they’ve detailed in tips, tricks, etc. a way to handle this that works just fine.
