Cut Off Time for Same Day – Order Pickup

In order for the Order to be available for Pickup on the same day it was placed, you will be needing sufficient time to pickup the product once it is processed/packaged.

In Cut Off Time for Same Day Pickup option, set a time. The Orders placed after the time specified in this option will not be eligible for Same Day Pickup. Those orders will be eligible for next day Pickup. Please refer to the example scenarios below for a better understanding of how this option works.

The Processing Time is set as 4 Hours. The Cut Off Time for Same Day Pickup is set as 12:00PM.The user tries to place the order at 10:00 AM.

In this case, the user is eligible for a Same Day Pickup. Because, there is sufficient time for Picking up the order on the same day. The timeline of events is explained below,

Order Placing Time: 10:00 AM

Processing Time Required: 4 Hours

Cut Off Time for Same Day Pickup: 12:00 PM

Processing Completion Time: 02:00 PM

Since the order was placed before the Cut Off Time i.e 12:00 PM, the order will be eligible for Same Day Pickup and the user can select the current date as the Pickup Date in the calendar.

The Processing Time is set as 4 Hours. The Cut Off Time for Same Day Pickup is set as 12:00PM.The user tries to place the order at 01:00 PM.

In this case, the user is not eligible for a Same Day Pickup. Because, there is no sufficient time for Picking up the order on the same day. The timeline of events is explained below,

Cut Off Time for Same Day Pickup: 12:00 PM

Order Placing Time: 01:00 PM

Processing Time Required: 4 Hours

Processing Completion Time: 05:00 PM

Since the order was placed after the Cut Off Time i.e 12:00 PM, the order will not be eligible for Same Day Pickup. The user will not be able to select the current date as the Pickup date in the calendar.

Note

1. Do not leave the cut off time empty if you have processing time.
2. Cut off time should be set based on the processing time.
