Bookings Coupons

WooCommerce Bookings adds a new coupon discount type to Marketing > Coupons named Booking Person Discount. This coupon type allows a per-person discount on Bookable Products with the Persons feature enabled.

WooCommerce’s default cart and product coupons work great for discounts on bookings regardless of person settings.

Create a Booking Person Discount Coupon

You can follow these steps to create a per-person discount:

1. Go to Marketing > Coupons and select Add coupon.
2. Enter the coupon code at the top of the page.
3. In Discount type, select Booking Person Discount (Amount Off Per Person).
4. In Coupon amount, enter the amount to discount per person on the booking. Percentage discounts aren’t available for per-person coupons.
5. Optionally set a Coupon expiry date, and use the Usage restriction and Usage limits tabs as you would for any coupon. For details, see Coupon management.
6. Select Publish.

After you publish the coupon, share the code with your customers.

How the discount applies

• The coupon discounts only bookable products with persons enabled. Other products in the cart aren’t discounted.
• Product and category rules on the Usage restriction tab are checked for each booking. Customers can apply the coupon only when the cart has at least one eligible booking, and only those bookings are discounted.
• A booking’s discount can’t be more than its price.
