How does it work?

Display error message

A user has a product in their cart and tries to add another product.

The following error messages will be displayed based on the use case,

• Only one product can be purchased in an order.
• You cannot add this product to the cart because your cart already contains a Product that needs to be purchased separately.

Remove the existing product and add a new product to the cart

A user has a product in their cart and tries to add another product. The existing product in the cart will be removed, and the new product will be added to the cart.

Extensive Features List

• Limit customers to purchasing only one product per order.
• When a Sell Individually product combined with another product in the cart, choose how the cart behaves:
  • Block the New Product: Prevent the product from being added and display an error message.
  • Replace Existing Product: Remove the existing cart item and add the new product instead.
• Customize separate error messages for:
  • Attempts to add another product when a Sell Individually product already exists in the cart.
  • Message that explains why a restricted product must be purchased as an independent order, blocking mixed carts.
