Check payments is a built-in WooCommerce payment gateway that allows customers to place orders and pay offline by check. This guide covers how to activate and configure check payments on your store.
Orders placed with check payments remain in On hold status until you verify that the payment has cleared in your bank account. Before shipping an order and changing its status to Processing or Completed, confirm that the funds are in your account. For more information, see Managing orders.
Note: Check payments was called “Cheque” prior to WooCommerce 3.3.
