To create a site with PetGrub, you must install the PetGrub theme and WooCommerce plugin. Once you purchase the Petgrub theme, follow the steps below to install the required theme and plugin on your WordPress website.

1. WooCommerce: The official WooCommerce plugin is required to display the modal cart and products. It includes many other necessary blocks for any website.

1. Begin by logging in to your WooCommerce Account
2. Once logged in, navigate to the Downloads
3. Locate the PetGrub theme from the products list and click the Download link. This will download a compressed file named petgrub.zip to your computer

• In your Dashboard go to Appearance > Themes.
• Click on the Add New button on top.
• Click Upload New button on top.
• In the new interface click Choose File and browse your computer to locate petgrub.zip file you downloaded.
• Click Install Now.
• After installation Activate the theme.

Congratulations! 🎉 The PetGrub theme is installed and activated successfully. You can preview your website with the PetGrub theme by clicking the Visit Site link that appears.

Note: Installing the WooCommerce plugin manually is optional if you intend to import the demo site as instructed in the Quick Start Guide section below.

This section will guide you through the initial setup process of your website using the PetGrub theme. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced WordPress user, you can choose between two methods to set up your site:

• Demo Import (Recommended) – Quickly get a ready-to-use site that looks exactly like the demo.
• Manual Setup – Build your website from scratch using the Site Editor and WooCommerce.

We recommend starting with the One Click Demo Import if you want to save time and replicate the demo design, structure, and content.

Once you install and activate the PetGrub theme, a notice box will appear to help you get started with the theme. You can utilize it to import the demo site at your convenience.

• Go to your WordPress Dashboard
• Navigate to: Appearance → Import Demo Data
• On the Import Demo Data page, click the “Import Demo Data” button
• Click on “Continue & Import” button.

The process will begin automatically. It may take a few minutes depending on your server speed.

Once the import is complete:

• Visit your site frontend to see the demo content and layout applied.
• Navigate to Settings → Reading and ensure the homepage is set to a static page (usually named “Home”).

Follow these steps to manually configure your site using the Full Site Editing (FSE) experience and WooCommerce:

With the WordPress Site Editor, you can effortlessly design every part of your PetGrub WooCommerce theme using intuitive block-based editing tools, giving you full control over headers, footers, and everything in between.

How to Access the Site Editor

• Log in to your WordPress admin panel.
• Locate the “Edit Site” option in the top-right corner of the admin toolbar and click it.
• Use the editor to modify global templates or specific pages, or navigate to individual pages via the “Pages” or “Posts” sections in the dashboard.
