WooCommerce users will be amongst the first to integrate with TikTok Shop in the United States.
July 20, 2023 — Since launching the TikTok for WooCommerce extension last year, thousands of Woo merchants have joined TikTok and started running ads on the world’s fastest-growing social platform. The extension also recently launched support for Smart Performance Campaigns, TikTok’s automated ad creation and targeting platform.
Today we’re excited to announce the latest development in our partnership expansion: WooCommerce merchants are at the front of the line and can be among the first to bring their shops to TikTok Shop in the US. There are over 150M monthly active TikTok users in the US (TikTok Internal Data, March 2023).
With TikTok Shop, Woo merchants can bring their entire inventories to TikTok, and directly sell to TikTok users with in-feed videos, livestreams, and a prominently featured product showcase tab on their profile page. This creates a seamless shopping experience, allowing buyers and browsers to effortlessly transition from discovery to purchase without leaving the TikTok app.
There are over 61b views on #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt (TikTok Internal Data, Global, July 2023), and 61% of TikTok users have engaged in ecommerce behaviors on the platform (TikTok Marketing Science Global Shopping Ad Products Study 2022 conducted by Material).
US-based merchants interested in being early adopters of TikTok Shop can register their interest via the TikTok Shop / WooCommerce beta program.
