Bookings Settings

The WooCommerce Bookings Extension adds several new pages to your admin area and comes with its own settings that control how it operates. Learn more about these at: Booking Settings

Availability settings

Availability controls what time slots can be booked. Product-level availability is set via the Availability tab on the “Edit Product” page. You can also set Store-level availability, and availability rules for resources that bookable products use. These availability rules work together to determine whether a product is available to be booked at a given time.  Learn more about availability settings.

Costs for Bookable Products

Bookable products have are flexible pricing options, allowing you to set different rates for different periods, charge per-person rates, different amounts for different person types, or offer discounts for certain bookings. Costs for specific time slots are controlled from the Costs tab on the “Edit Product” page. Learn more about setting costs for your bookable products

Persons

Persons can be used to charge per-person rates, or to charge a different rate for different person types (adults, or children for example) Ticking the “Has Persons” checkbox on the “Edit Product” page enables these options for your bookable product. Once selected, a new tab appears:

Resources

The “Resources” setting refers to a feature that allows you to define and manage the various resources required for your bookable products or services. Resources can represent anything necessary for fulfilling a booking, such as rooms, equipment, staff members, or any other tangible or intangible assets.

By setting up resources, you can effectively allocate and manage the availability and capacity of these resources in relation to your bookable products or services. Each resource can have its own unique characteristics, availability schedule, and capacity limitations, and it can also be shared between multiple bookable products. Managing Bookings

Options found under the Bookings menu in the WordPress dashboard provide various means for you to view, filter, and edit your bookings. You can manually add bookings from the admin area, send notices to customers who have booked a specific product, or make coupons for per-person discounts.
